Abstract: ABSTRACT: Context-Aware Biometric Electronic Voting System with Cognitive Validation and Adaptive Interfaces This invention describes a context-aware secure electronic voting system is disclosed for enabling authenticated, private, inclusive, auditable, and resilient electoral participation. The system authenticates an eligible voter using multimodal biometric verification including facial recognition, thermal facial mapping, and micro-vascular liveness detection to prevent spoofing and unauthorized access. Environmental intelligence dynamically adjusts display, audio, prompt timing, biometric capture, and authentication parameters according to ambient light, noise, temperature, and polling conditions. Cognitive-state and coercion validation evaluates non-ballot-related behavioral indicators to detect confusion, distress, hesitation, or possible duress without determining or disclosing voting preference. A multilingual emotion-adaptive interface and low-literacy support provide simplified, symbol-based, and voice-guided voter interaction. Privacy-preserving on-device artificial intelligence and federated learning minimize transmission of biometric and behavioral data. The system further provides encrypted vote recording, tamper-evident logging, voter-verifiable audit trails, offline synchronization, and disaster-resilient operation for secure elections in constrained environments.
