Abstract: ABSTRACT: Context-Aware Automotive Hazard Signaling System with Misuse Prevention and Emergency Activation This invention describes a context-aware automotive hazard warning system configured to intelligently regulate the activation of hazard lamps based on real-time vehicle motion and environmental conditions. The system suppresses improper hazard-light activation during normal vehicle operation to prevent misleading signaling, while automatically enabling hazard warnings upon detection of genuine emergency conditions. Such conditions include abrupt deceleration, collision events, traction loss, hydroplaning tendency, or vehicle immobilization in an active traffic environment. An adaptive logic framework continuously evaluates vehicular dynamics and contextual inputs to determine appropriate signaling states. The system further incorporates an authorized override mechanism permitting controlled hazard activation for designated use cases, along with event logging for traceability. Additionally, a fail-safe continuity arrangement ensures uninterrupted hazard-light functionality in the event of system malfunction. The invention enhances signaling integrity, reduces ambiguity among road users, and improves overall vehicular safety.
