The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: Context-Aware AI Companion Using Multimodal Emotion, Voice, and Gesture Fusion is the proposed invention. The invention disclosed herein provides a context- aware artificial intelligence (AI) companion that combines multimodal emotion recognition, voice analysis, gesture interpretation and contextual reasoning to provide intelligent and personalised human-computer interaction. The system collects synchronised data from cameras, microphones, wearable sensors and environmental devices, recording facial expressions, speech characteristics, body movements, physiological signals and ambient conditions. We extract modality-specific features using dedicated deep learning models that are combined using a Cross-Modal Transformer Fusion Network that dynamically assigns confidence-based attention weights based on signal quality and contextual relevance. The contextual knowledge graph encodes user preferences, behavioural history, daily routines and interaction patterns for tailored decision making and proactive assistance. An AI dialogue engine generates empathetic responses, recommendations and adaptive actions based on the fused emotional representation and contextual information. Reinforcement learning constantly improves the quality of interaction, and federated learning, encrypted storage, and local data processing ensure user privacy and security. The invention improves emotion recognition accuracy, context-awareness, robustness and personalisation for applications such as healthcare, education, smart homes, elder care, mental wellness and intelligent virtual assistants.
