Abstract: The present invention relates to a computerized academic timetable generation system and method for automatically generating institution-compliant academic schedules through integrated schedule generation, constraint validation, conflict detection, and resource optimization. The system receives institutional scheduling information including faculty availability, course requirements, student sections, classroom details, laboratory resources, and academic policies, and processes the information to generate an initial timetable. A dedicated validation mechanism continuously examines the generated schedule to detect faculty conflicts, classroom overlaps, student scheduling clashes, workload violations, and other constraint inconsistencies. Upon detection of any conflict, the system automatically performs corrective scheduling operations to produce a feasible and optimized timetable. The invention further incorporates workload optimization and resource allocation mechanisms to improve faculty workload distribution and maximize utilization of institutional facilities. Additionally, the system supports localized timetable modification, enabling rapid updates when scheduling changes occur without requiring complete timetable regeneration. The finalized timetable is presented in a structured format suitable for institutional implementation. The invention significantly reduces manual effort, improves scheduling accuracy, minimizes conflicts, enhances operational efficiency, and provides a scalable timetable management solution adaptable to schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
