The application for the patent was published on October 16, 2026, under issue no. 42/2026.

Abstract: The present subject matter provides a sample processing unit (101-1) comprising a receiver subunit (104), an extraction subunit (108) comprising a dye chamber (110) comprising a labelling dye, a mixing loop (112), and a membrane (114), and a unit port (102) to receive a negative pressure, wherein a loop length of the mixing loop (112) between its points of connection with the dye chamber (110) and the membrane (114) is greater than a unit length D between the said points, and wherein the negative pressure causes the cell sample to move from the receiver subunit (104) to the membrane (114) in a single direction of flow. A sample processing device (200) comprising four such units operated concurrently from a device port (204), and a processing device (600) to apply the negative pressure and to read the membrane in situ, are also provided.
