The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a confined-space nut-operating tool (100) that is configured to grip and rotate a nut positioned in an enclosed, obstructed, recessed, or under-sink installation location. The confined-space nut operating tool (100) comprises a split circular frame assembly (102), a locking arrangement (108), a casing assembly (110), a synchronized gripping assembly (116), a threaded adjustment assembly (128), and a gear-driven rotational control assembly (134). The confined- space nut-operating tool (100) enables continuous nut rotation without repeated disengagement, repositioning, and re-engagement after partial rotation strokes. The confined-space nut-operating tool (100) improves torque transfer during tightening, loosening, or removal of a nut in a location having limited angular clearance. The confined-space nut-operating tool (100) supports operation across different nut sizes and profiles used in plumbing, faucet mounting, sink installation, and confined mechanical fastening applications.
