Abstract: ABSTRACT CONFIGURATION OF DIGITAL PRE-DISTORTION FUNCTIONALITY A method includes transmitting, by a user device to a network node, information of a digital pre-distortion, DPD, functionality associated with each layer of at least one multiple input multiple output, MIMO, layer; receiving configuration information corresponding to at least one uplink transmission of the at least one MIMO layer, wherein the configuration information is indicative of: selecting a bandwidth part, BWP, of the at least one uplink transmission of the at least one MIMO layer; selecting a frequency within a middle of an operating bandwidth of the at least one uplink transmission of the at least one MIMO layer; or deactivating the DPD functionality for one or more MIMO layers; transmitting an acknowledgement comprising an indication of performing configuration of the at least one uplink transmission, wherein the configuration is based on the configuration information; and performing the at least one uplink transmission based on the configuration information.
