Inventors include Feridoon Jalili; Oana-Elena Barbu; Samad; Stig Blcher Brink; and Martin Hedegaard Nielsen.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT CONFIGURATION OF DIGITAL PRE-DISTORTION FUNCTIONALITY A method includes transmitting, by a user device to a network node, information of a digital pre-distortion, DPD, functionality associated with each layer of at least one multiple input multiple output, MIMO, layer; receiving configuration information corresponding to at least one uplink transmission of the at least one MIMO layer, wherein the configuration information is indicative of deactivating the DPD functionality for one or more MIMO layers; receiving at least one parameter associated with transmission of a reference signal for calibration of the at least one MIMO layer, the at least one parameter comprising: information of resources associated with the transmission of the reference signal; or at least one parameter of at least one power amplifier, PA corresponding to the at least one MIMO layer; deactivating the DPD functionality for the one or more layers; and transmitting the reference signal based on the at least one parameter.
