MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641125979 A) filed by Silicic Innova Technologies Pvt Ltd on October 22, 2026, for Configurable System-On-Chip With Separate Configuration Validation And Authorisation And Deterministic Suppressed-Subsystem Responses.

Inventor includes Swaminathan K.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A configurable system-on-chip uses a profile descriptor, dependency-validation circuit and separate authorization circuit to govern optional subsystems. Profile control circuit activates a selected subsystem when its configuration is legal and permitted. A shared aperture retains an address-selected destination until response completion. A deterministic response circuit answers a mapped suppressed region with a first error class and predefined read data. Fabric answers an unmapped address with a different error class. An interface safety controller drives suppressed interfaces to defined idle states, including a non-permissive debug-authorization value under security suppression. The arrangement supports product derivatives with different feature combinations while preserving request/response association and distinguishable failure responses.
