Abstract: ABSTRACT Confidence-Weighted Convex-Blending State Reconstruction System and Method The present invention relates to a confidence-weighted convex- blending state reconstruction system and method for reconstructing compromised or anomaly-flagged measurements in a cyber-physical system. The system (100) comprises a measurement input interface (102), a reference state acquisition module (104), a confidence computation module (106), a severity assessment module (108), a blending factor generator (110), a convex reconstruction module (112), and a stability-constrained output interface (114). The blending factor generator (110) generates a bounded blending factor based on contextual confidence indicators and severity indicators, and the convex reconstruction module (112) proportionally blends compromised measurements with trusted reference states to generate corrected measurements upon satisfaction of a reconstruction-triggering condition while preventing complete replacement of the compromised measurements. The invention is applicable to smart transmission networks, distribution utilities, industrial control systems, manufacturing automation platforms, oil and gas monitoring systems, water treatment infrastructure, and data centre monitoring environments.
