Abstract: Abstract Condition-Based MCB Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance System The present invention relates to a Condition-Based MCB Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance System for continuously assessing the operational health of miniature circuit breakers using computer vision, vibration sensing, embedded artificial intelligence, and historical operational analytics. The system acquires visual and mechanical data, establishes adaptive baseline operating profiles for individual breakers, computes a Breaker Health Index, estimates Failure Probability Index and Remaining Useful Life, and ranks breakers according to maintenance priority. The system further classifies multiple operating conditions, predicts progressive degradation, and generates condition-based maintenance recommendations through an IoT-enabled remote monitoring platform. By integrating multimodal sensing with adaptive predictive analytics, the invention enables early fault prediction, optimized maintenance scheduling, improved electrical reliability, reduced unplanned downtime, and enhanced operational safety in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical distribution systems.
