MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641075995 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on June 19, 2026, for Concrete Curing Sensing And Measuring Equipment With Iot Monitor For Large Heavey Constructions.
Inventors include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The invention discloses a concrete curing sensing and measuring equipment with loT monitor for large heavy constructions to evaluate internal hydration states. The equipment comprises an insertion pole {1) featuring a probe insert cavity (2) and a sensing window (3) embedded within the mass concrete. A moisture sensing probe 10 (4) is lowered into the insertion pole (1) to detect conditions through the sensing window (3). A sensor cable (5) transmits the recorded data to external surface mounted junction terminals (6). The junction terminals (6) transmit the data wirelessly to an loT Rx receiver (7) utilizing an loT Rx antenna (9). The processed real-time concrete curing conditions are visually displayed on an integrated LCD screen (8) for 15 continuous structural monitoring.
