The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: Various example embodiments of this disclosure relate to a computing service and an associated service data flow. In an aspect, a first network device obtains first information for establishing a service session between a second network device and a compute node, and configures the second network device with a rule forwarding a service data flow of the terminal device from the second network device to the compute node. The first network device transmits an identifier to the terminal device. The identifier is assigned by the first network device for the first PDU session so as to identify the service data flow in the forwarding of the service data flow by the second network device. As such, solution (s) for improving computing aware traffic steering are provided, thereby facilitating (e.g., guaranteeing) service data to be steered from the terminal device to a desired compute node.
