Abstract: COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEMI-AUTOMATIC GENERATION, VALIDATION, REVISION OF PIPING AND INSTRUMENTATION DIAGRAM The present invention relates to a computer-implemented system and method for semi-automatic generation, validation, revision control, and synchronization of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), engineering documentation, and automation-related data. The system integrates a structured data platform, a historical engineering-data repository, a comparison and suggestion engine, and a CAD-integrated plugin environment. Structured apparatus and connection data are compared with historical project configurations to generate suggested nozzles, valves, connections, standard naming, and related engineering content. A CAD plugin generates or updates P&ID content and provides a search-based insertion interface for placing technical components directly into selected process lines or connection locations. The system automatically manages nozzle numbering, prevents duplicate numbering, propagates revisions across drawings and tables, and generates measurement point lists for automation purposes.
