MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541100791 A) filed by Sisa Information Security Pvt Ltd on October 17, 2025, for Computer-Implemented System And Method For Security Assessment Of Embedded Devices Through Multi-Interface Capability Confirmation.
Inventors include Renju Varghese Jolly; and Mohammed Saqeeb Shariff.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a computer-implemented system (102) and a method (2600) for security assessment of embedded devices (104) through multi-interface capability confirmation. The system (102) establishes plurality of concurrent sessions to embedded electronic device (104). For each session, the system (102) transmits a probe over respective physical interface of session and records command-execution ability for the session. The system (102) forms a pooled ability set as union of abilities across the sessions. The system (102) evaluates ordered strategies. The system (102) dispatches the strategy to a dispatched session. The system (102) assigns provenance equal to lesser of the provenance level to a conclusion derived from evidence upon the evidence and the provenance ceiling of dispatched strategy. The system (102) emits for assessment objective a typed gap result identifying unmet ability and physical access that supplies the unmet ability, and retains typed gap result within reported coverage figure.
