MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531066120 A) filed by Mednaath Technologies Private Limited on July 11, 2025, for Computer-Implemented System And Method For Optimizing Deployment Of Sensors In Fields.

Inventor includes Nitish Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING DEPLOYMENT OF SENSORS IN FIELDS A computer-implemented system (102) and method (700) for optimizing deployment of sensors (104), is disclosed. The computer-implemented method (700) includes processing geometric shapes to determine overlapping regions where two or more geometric shapes are overlapped. The computer-implemented method (700) further includes determining a volume of determined overlapping regions based on set-theory operations. The computer-implemented method (700) further includes determining a union of volumes of the geometric shapes including the sensor coverage areas. The computer-implemented method (700) further includes determining overlapping metrics of the overlapping regions of the two or more geometries by multiplying a preset metric value (e.g., 100) by a ratio of the volume of the overlapping regions (V_overlap), to the union of the volumes of the geometric shapes (V_union). The computer-implemented method (700) further includes optimizing the deployment of the sensors (104) based on the overlapping metrics of the overlapping regions. FIG.
