Abstract: . Abstract The present invention discloses a computer-implemented method and system for predictive structural health classification of composite laminates. A Data Ingestion and Validation Interface receives static flexural property data and dynamic-mechanical viscoelastic property data, obtained from external test sources, together with associated interlaminar defect parameters (position, shape, size). A Normalization Engine expresses the received properties as retention ratios relative to an intact- specimen baseline. A Degradation Correlation and Extrapolation Engine fits a model relating defect parameters to the retention ratios and predicts retention ratios, with a confidence estimate, for untested defect configurations. A Multi-Domain Structural Health Index Computation Engine fuses flexural and viscoelastic retention ratios, using adaptively assigned, confidence-weighted domain weights, into a single Structural Health Index, flagging the dominant degraded domain. A Risk-Adaptive Classification Logic applies confidence- and criticality-responsive thresholds to classify the index into actionable categories and to trigger alerts. The invention is agnostic to the fabrication method or test apparatus used to generate the underlying measurements, enabling deployment as a standalone analytics module in composite quality-control and design-validation workflows.
