Abstract: Compositions for providing barrier properties like liquid-, and/or oil-, and/or grease-resistant properties to a substrate, preparations and applications as well as therefrom substrates and articles, as for example food containers, plates, straws, bags (from paper and textile), cloths and bowls. It was found that substrates treated with said composition possess improved properties in terms of liquid-, grease- and oil-resistance even after subsequent folding steps as for example in following folding steps to obtain food-containers.
