Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION COMPOSITE TILE FROM RECYCLED MULTILAYER PLASTIC WASTE WITH TEXTILE REINFORCEMENT AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF The present disclosure relates to a composite tile composition, the composition comprising: 30–60 wt% of a heterogeneous polymeric waste derived matrix; 10-30 wt% of inorganic fillers; 1-5 wt% of compatibilizer; 2-5 wt% of plasticizer; 0-30 wt% of a reinforcement agent; and 6-30 wt% of one or more additives selected from a flame retardant in 5-24 wt% of the total composition, a UV stabilizer in 0.5-1.0 wt% of the total composition, and a pigment or colorant in 1-5 wt% of the total composition. The present disclosure also provides a process for the preparation of composite tiles derived primarily from multilayer plastic (MLP) waste and flexible PP/PE films. The resulting composite tiles meet IS 15622:2017 Group B IIa specifications. The composition and method of the present disclosure provide a simple and economical solution for multilayer plastic (MLP) waste valorization, post-consumer textile waste processing.
