Abstract: Abstract Compo Shape is a dual-ended, Teflon-coated composite placement and condensation instrument designed to streamline direct composite resin restorations in clinical dentistry. The instrument is constructed from stainless steel with a complete Teflon coating to prevent composite resin adhesion to the instrument surface, ensuring clean and efficient material handling. One end of the instrument comprises a carrier tip with a spherical condenser integrated at its working end. This spherical form allows the clinician to both carry and condense composite resin into the prepared cavity, adapting the material to internal cavity walls and ensuring homogeneous compaction with minimal voids. The opposite end features a shovel-shaped working tip designed for precise contouring and surface finishing of composite resin. The flat, spatula-like form enables the clinician to shape and refine composite anatomy with controlled strokes, facilitating accurate occlusal and proximal contouring prior to final curing. The central ergonomic handle connects both ends, providing balanced weight distribution, improved grip, and enhanced intraoral maneuverability. The integrated dual-function design reduces the number of instrument exchanges during the restorative procedure, minimizing contamination risk, decreasing chairside time, and improving overall procedural efficiency.
