The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT COMPLETE COMBUSTION (CC) TECHNIQUE TO EXTRACT AND ESTIMATE IRON AND ZINC IONS FROM LENTIL CULTIVARS (Lens culinaris Medik) The present invention describes an “optimized acid digestion via thermal decomposition technique” where the chemical comiobuns tprocess is used for the preparation of ash, along with acid digestion for the extraction of minerals. The method comprises the steps of: preparing the collected sample for thermal decomposition, decomposing the prepared sample, thermally, treating the decomposed sample with acid, solubilizing the minerals, preparing the final stock and assessing the bioavailable metal ions. This process helps in accurate and precise estimation of micronutrients, along with providing economic advantages due to the increased augmentation, extraction, and recovery of Iron (Fe) and Zinc (Zn).
