The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a lightweight retractable tri-copter drone for agricultural inspection, crop monitoring, rural surveillance, and environmental observation. The drone comprises a central body and three motor-supporting arms arranged to define a triangular configuration in a deployed state. The arms are pivotally connected through hinge joints and are movable between the deployed state and a folded state in which the arms are positioned adjacent to the central body to reduce transportation space. A locking assembly retains the arms in the deployed state during flight. Propulsion units mounted at distal ends of the arms generate lift and movement. The central body may accommodate a battery, flight controller, speed controllers, communication module, camera, or sensors. Structural components may be manufactured using additive manufacturing for lightweight construction, simplified replacement, and economical production. Figure 1 is the reference.
