Abstract: The present invention relates to a compact hybrid multiband microstrip patch antenna for wireless communication applications. The antenna comprises a dielectric substrate, a conductive ground plane, a radiating patch incorporating a plurality of slot structures, a centrally positioned ring resonator, and an impedance-matching microstrip feed arrangement. The slot structures create multiple current paths to generate multiple resonant frequencies, while the ring resonator introduces additional higher-order resonant modes to extend the operational bandwidth. The impedance-matching feed arrangement enhances power transfer by minimizing return loss and improving voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). The cooperative interaction of the radiating patch, slot structures, ring resonator, and feed structure provides enhanced bandwidth, improved radiation efficiency, stable multiband performance, and compact size without increasing fabrication complexity. The antenna is suitable for Wi-Fi, WLAN, 5G, satellite communication, Internet of Things (IoT), radar, and other multi-standard radio frequency communication systems
