Abstract: Provided in the present application are communication methods and a communication apparatus. A method comprises: sending a registration request message; receiving a registration acceptance message, the registration acceptance message carrying first instruction information, and the first instruction information being used for instructing to reply a registration completion message after receiving the registration acceptance message; and, according to the registration acceptance message, sending the registration completion message. On the basis of the method, cell alignment for the registration acceptance messages at the network side and the terminal side can be ensured, so that the terminal can normally communicate. In addition, carrying the first instruction information so as to enable the terminal to reply the registration completion message further helps to improve the system compatibility.
