Abstract: The present application is applied in the technical field of communications. Provided are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The technical solution provided in the present application involves: a first communication device receiving first information from a second communication device, wherein the first information is used for requesting that the first communication device performs collaborative shared sensing; and sending second information to a second communication device, wherein the second information is used for indicating consent to the collaborative shared sensing, rejection of the collaborative shared sensing, or rejection of the collaborative shared sensing and recommendation of a sensing parameter. In the method, a second communication device establishes collaborative shared sensing with a first communication device by means of requesting the collaborative shared sensing, and acquires sensing measurement results between the first communication device and other communication devices, such that the establishment of redundant sensing measurement sessions can be reduced, thereby saving network resources.
