Abstract: Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. In the method, a first apparatus may acquire first information, for example, the first apparatus receives first information configured by a base station or first information predefined by a protocol, so as to obtain at least two of a first threshold value, a quantization step size or the number of quantization bits, such that one or more deviation ranges can be further determined. The first apparatus may report second information on the basis of a delay deviation or a frequency deviation, so as to indicate the frequency deviation or the delay deviation more flexibly and accurately; in addition, the second information indicates a deviation range to which the frequency deviation or the delay deviation belongs, for example, the second information indicates that the frequency deviation or the delay deviation belongs to a first deviation range without indicating a specific frequency deviation or delay deviation value, thereby facilitating a decrease in indication overheads.
