Abstract: Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The communication method comprises: a first device generating a second long training field (LTF), wherein the second LTF has a linear phase-shift relationship with a first LTF in a frequency domain, or the second LTF has a cyclic shift relationship with the first LTF in a time domain, and the first LTF is determined on the basis of a subcarrier used; and the first device sending the second LTF to a second device. By means of the technical solution provided in the present application, the accuracy of information of a channel between a second device and a first device that is measured by the second device can be improved when the first device and another device simultaneously send LTFs.
