Abstract: Provided in the present disclosure are a communication method and apparatus, and a readable storage medium. The method comprises: sending a paging message to a user equipment, wherein the paging message comprises a group identifier associated with a user equipment to be paged. In the method of the present disclosure, a network device sends the paging message to the user equipment, so as to inform the user equipment of the group identifier associated with the user equipment to be paged. Thus, during the process of determining, by means of the group identifier, the user equipment to be paged, the network device may page more user equipments at a time, thereby improving the paging efficiency, and being more suitable for a communication scenario in which the connection density of user equipments is high.
