Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of communications, and provide a communication method, a terminal, a network element, a core network device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: sending a first request, wherein the first request is used for requesting a core network device to provide a sensing service to a terminal, the first request comprises first information, and the first information is used for indicating a sensing service required by the terminal; and in response to acquiring a second request, determining and sending first sensing measurement data, wherein the second request is used for instructing the terminal to determine the first sensing measurement data, and the first sensing measurement data is sensing measurement data related to the sensing service on a terminal side. The embodiments of the present disclosure realize ordered distribution and execution of the task of determining the sensing measurement data.
