Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the technical field of communications. Provided are a communication method, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: a Non-AP MLD determining a multi-link operation update request frame under a first condition, wherein the multi-link operation update request frame comprises a first information domain, the first information domain is used for indicating state information of an enhanced multi-link mode of the Non-AP MLD, and the enhanced multi-link mode comprises an enhanced multi-link single radio (EMLSR) mode or an enhanced multi-link multi-radio (EMLMR) mode; and the Non- AP MLD sending the multi-link operation update request frame to an AP MLD. The embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a method for indicating state information of an enhanced multi-link mode.
