Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a communication method, an access point device, a station device, and a communication system. The communication method comprises: an access point device determines a first radio frame, wherein the first radio frame is used for triggering a station device to switch to a secondary channel for communication when a primary channel is busy, the first radio frame comprises first identification information, and the first identification information identifies bandwidth information of the secondary channel negotiated between the access point device and the station device; and the station device monitors and receives the first radio frame on the secondary channel, determines parameter information of the secondary channel on the basis of the first identification information in the first radio frame, and carries out communication in the secondary channel on the basis of the parameter information, so that the throughput of a communication system is improved, and the utilization of channel resources is maximized.
