Abstract: The embodiments of the present application relate to a first communication device and a method for wireless optical communication. The first communication device comprises: a control circuit, configured to determine a turbulence intensity of an atmospheric channel between the first communication device and a second communication device; a spatial optical modulation module, configured to adjust a phase of an optical signal required to be sent to the second communication equipment based on the turbulence intensity; and a sending module, configured to send the optical signal having the phase to the second communication device. As such, the first communication device can adapt to turbulent environments with different intensities, thereby ensuring the stability and reliability of optical communication.
