Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a solution for common layer 1 (L1) / layer 2 (L2) triggered and layer 3 (L3) mobility measurement configuration. In an aspect, a terminal device receives, from a network device, first configuration information for performing L3 measurements and reporting. The terminal device receives, from the network device, (i) second configuration information for performing L1 measurements and reporting for L1/L2 triggered mobility (LTM) and (ii) third configuration information for configuring the terminal device to perform and report at least one of the L1 measurements or the L3 measurements. The terminal device performs and reports, based on the third configuration information, the at least one of the L1 measurements or the L3 measurements
