MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541000972 A) filed by Jeyavishnu K on January 04, 2025, for Colorimetric Automated Vial Identification For Coloirmetry.
Inventors include Jeyavishnu K; and Manish Malhan.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT Colorimetric Automated Vial Identification for coloirmetry A method and system for identifying and quantifying analyte concentration in a sample using a colorimetric system are provided. The system includes a vial with a unique color coating [101] that influences light absorption, allowing for the detection of its distinct absorbance pattern through a first light source [102] and first light detector [103]. This pattern is used to automatically select the appropriate analyte quantification program. A second light source [106] and second light detector [107] at the bottom of the vial are used for analyte quantification, where light transmission through the sample correlates with analyte concentration, following Beer’s law. The system further includes a processing unit [104] that compares the vial’s absorbance pattern with stored data in a system database [105] to identify the vial and select the proper quantification protocol. A user interface [109] allows for real-time monitoring and adjustments, ensuring accurate, efficient, and reliable analyte concentration analysis with dynamic calibration.
