MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611078912 A) filed by Simhatel Technologies Private Limited on June 26, 2026, for Collaborative Tethered Aerial-Ground Firefighting System With Autonomous Stabilization And Tether Alignment Control.
Inventors include Dr. Amit Shukla; Pushkar Kumar; Satwik Jaiswal; Rajan Singh; and Ankit Mehra.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a collaborative firefighting system (100) comprising an aerial vehicle (102), a ground vehicle (106), and a tether assembly (108) configured to provide continuous electrical power, extinguishing fluid, and communication connectivity. The aerial vehicle (102) comprises an imaging unit (128), an object detection unit (114), a coordinate transformation unit (116), an error processing unit (118), a stabilization unit (120), a flight control unit (110b), and an actuation unit (126) configured to detect fire targets, determine target coordinates, compensate for disturbance forces, and perform targeted fire suppression through a nozzle (104). The ground vehicle (106) comprises a mobility control system (112), an angle calculator (136), and a microcontroller unit (110a) configured to determine tether alignment parameters and autonomously reposition the ground vehicle (106) to maintain a predefined tether alignment condition. The system facilitates prolonged and effective fire suppression at elevated or difficult-to-access locations. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
