MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621054405 A) filed by Ashish Shah on April 29, 2026, for Cold Chain Monitoring System For Vaccines And Pharmaceuticals..
Inventor includes Ashish Shah.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a Cold Chain Monitoring System for vaccines and pharmaceutical products, designed to ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance of environmental conditions during storage and transportation of temperature-sensitive medical products. The system comprises a sensor module including high-precision temperature and humidity sensors, a programmable microcontroller unit for data acquisition and processing, a wireless communication module for transmitting environmental data, and a Global Positioning System (GPS) module for real-time location tracking of pharmaceutical shipments. The monitoring device continuously measures environmental parameters within vaccine storage containers, pharmaceutical refrigerators, transport boxes, and cold storage facilities. The collected data is processed by the microcontroller and transmitted through communication networks to a centralized cloud-based monitoring platform. The cloud system stores historical environmental data, performs data analysis, and generates automated alerts when temperature or humidity levels deviate from predefined acceptable limits.
