Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention provides a Cognitive Failure Prevention Layer (CFPL) for predictive validation of computer-implemented workflows prior to application deployment. The CFPL converts workflow definitions into optimized dependency graph structures for efficient execution-state simulation while minimizing redundant graph traversal, processor utilization, memory allocation, and repeated database or API operations. A Semantic Workflow Mutation Engine (SWME) generates controlled workflow mutations and evaluates execution behavior under abnormal operating conditions using dependency-aware tracking mechanisms. Based on identified execution conflicts, dependency failures, synchronization errors, and permission inconsistencies, the CFPL generates machine-executable workflow transition sequences for reorganizing execution paths and isolating conflicting workflow branches before deployment. The architecture thereby reduces validation latency and computational overhead while improving memory efficiency, execution throughput, deployment reliability, and workflow performance across distributed computing environments.
