MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641100196 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on August 19, 2026, for Cognisync A Mindfulness Teaching App For Cognitive Enhancement.
Inventors include Kosuru Mohan Sri Sai; Dr. Sathish Kumar; and Dr Ramya Mohan.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The system analyzes multiple psychological parameters, including stress, anxiety, focus, emotional regulation, and mindfulness, using both pre-assessment and post- assessment scores. These inputs are processed through a machine learning model to determine the user's mental state intensity and to generate a personalized daily timetable consisting of therapeutic activities such as audio sessions, mindfulness tasks, and cognitive exercises. The system architecture comprises an Android-based frontend developed in Java, a Python Django backend, and a machine learning model trained on clinically structured and augmented datasets. The application supports secure user authentication, guided task workflows, real-time score processing, and automated generation of personalized schedules and progress insights. Experimental validation demonstrated strong agreement between AI-generated assessments and manual clinical interpretations, indicating the system's practical relevance. By reducing clinician workload, minimizing subjective bias, and delivering real-time mental health support through a smartphone platform, CogniSync offers a scalable and accessible solution for digital mental healthcare. Future enhancements include the integration of additional psychological parameters, cloud-based analytics, long- term progress tracking, and interoperability with hospital and mental health information systems, positioning CogniSync as a novel and effective advancement in AI- powered mental health monitoring and intervention.
