The coating of composite material comprising the formation of buttress layer (222) using a minimal percentage of composite material with a larger percentage of base material; the minimal percentage is in the range of 5%. The Laser surface alloying method further comprises coating the composite material with larger percentage of composite material following the formation of buttress layer; wherein the larger percentage may comprise the single value or varying per layer. Further a coating of composite material takes place using gel coating method. An implant comprising a base layer, a buttress layer and a coating layer, wherein the buttress layer comprising minimal percentage of composite material with a larger percentage of base material and the coating layer comprising larger percentage of composite material.
