Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: CNC DRILL TOOLS STORAGE BOX WITH EXTERNAL SHANK DIAMETER SHOWING DISPLAY WINDOW The present invention discloses a CNC drill tools storage box with external shank _ diameter showing display window for identifying machining tool diameters stored inside a storage cavity. The invention comprises an outer casing (1 ); a flip top lid (2), a drill tool placing cavity (3), an 8 mm drill tool shank sensing dots arrangement (4), a 10 mm drill tool shank sensing dots arrangement (5), a 12 mm drill tool shank sensing dots arrangement (6), a micro controller interface (7), an LCD window (8) and a touch button (9). The sensing dots arrangements (4, 5, 6) detect predetermined tool shank diameters inserted into the drill tool placing cavity (3). The micro controller interface (7) processes sensing signals corresponding to the inserted tool diameter. The LCD window (8) displays the detected tool diameter upon activation of the touch button (9). The invention reduces incorrect tool selection during computer numerical control machining operations. The invention provides a compact and economical tool identification arrangement for industrial machining environments
