Abstract: 069] The present invention provides a cloud infrastructure system for bounded-risk orchestration of preemptible compute resources using language-model proposal planning and deterministic constraint clamping. The system observes workload state, cloud-resource state, preemptible-resource pricing state, checkpoint state, budget state, policy state, and historical execution state before permitting any infrastructure action. A language-model proposal engine generates proposed orchestration actions such as instance selection, scale-out timing, fallback selection, retry strategy, checkpoint interval, interruption response, and recovery behavior, but is prevented from directly executing cloud actions. A deterministic multi-objective validator maps each proposal into an admissible action set, while a constraint-clamping layer limits invalid parameters, substitutes approved defaults, or converts unsafe output into a conservative fallback action. A checkpoint-aware recovery subsystem and budget guardrail engine enforce recovery-loss and spending boundaries before a guarded cloud-resource controller executes the authorized action. The invention improves cloud-resource utilization, reduces wasted compute under interruption, provides bounded recovery loss, and enables auditable autonomous orchestration of checkpointable cloud workloads.
