Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of the cloud-enabled machine learning framework for real-time prediction of energy shortages and economic loss during lockdown conditions will be useful in analyzing and forecasting the disruptions in energy supply, demand imbalances, and economic instability that occur in emergencies like pandemics or lockdown scenarios. The cloud-enabled framework makes use of cloud technology and IoT stream of data along with machine learning algorithms for processing live information obtained from sectors like industry, household, health, and transportation. Predictive analytics in this framework will help in evaluating the fluctuations in the usage of power, fuels, and operating stoppages to forecast the risk of energy shortage and resultant economic loss.
