MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641106023 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on September 03, 2026, for Cloud Computing Intellignt Ev Battery Insulation And Safety System.
Inventors include Dr. M. Nagaraj; Dr. K. Ramkumar; Dr. V. Shiva Shankar; and Dr Ramya Mohan.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The current invention pertains to a cloud computing-based intelligent electric vehicle (EV) battery insulation and safety system that improves battery protection, thermal insulation, and operational safety. The system uses temperature sensors, insulation monitoring units, and cloud-based analytics to continually monitor battery pack parameters in real time. Sensor data is transferred to a cloud platform, where cognitive algorithms assess heat conditions, insulation performance, and any safety hazards. The system automatically identifies anomalous temperature increase, insulation failure, and potential thermal runaway circumstances. Based on the findings, safety alarms and management measures are implemented to avoid battery damage and increase the overall dependability and longevity of electric car battery systems.
