Abstract: The present invention relates to a cloud computing-based multi-tenant digital twin framework for industrial applications, wherein a plurality of independent tenants are provided with individ-ually managed digital twin environments through a common cloud computing infrastructure. The framework comprises a tenant management layer, a digital twin management layer, a data ingestion subsystem, a state synchronization engine, a cloud resource orchestration engine, an analytical subsystem, a storage subsystem, and a tenant-aware access-control mechanism. The digital twin management layer creates digital representations corresponding to industrial ma- chines, equipment, production stations, production lines, processes, facilities, or groups of inter-connected industrial entities. The data ingestion subsystem receives information from sensors, industrial controllers, manufacturing systems, maintenance systems, inspection systems, and other physical or software sources and associates the received information with a corresponding tenant and digital twin. The state synchronization engine updates a digital twin according to temporal information, source reliability, data quality, and detected state transitions. The cloud resource orchestration engine dynamically assigns computational, storage, and communication resources according to digital twin workload, processing requirements, and tenant-specific ser-vice conditions. The framework further enables simulation, predictive analysis, historical state reconstruction, hierarchical digital twin management, and controlled exchange of selected in-formation between authorized entities.
