MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109874 A) filed by Jatin Yadav on September 13, 2026, for Cloud-Based Supply Chain Traceability System Using Distributed Event Fingerprinting And Automated Anomaly Detection.

Inventor includes Jatin Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A cloud-based supply chain traceability system is disclosed for establishing a tamper-evident event history across independent supply-chain participants. Heterogeneous events are normalized into canonical event representations, and each representation is converted into an event fingerprint bound to at least one predecessor trace state and a participant-specific verification value. Verification material corresponding to the fingerprint is retained at a plurality of logically independent locations while protected payload data may remain access-controlled. A trace graph engine constructs directed relationships among events, custody transitions, and transformation states. An anomaly-detection engine derives graph-aware transition features and evaluates fingerprint continuity together with operational consistency including temporal, geographic, custody, quantity, environmental, duplication, and cross-party consistency factors. Events may be verified, observed, disputed, or quarantined according to a generated anomaly indication. Offline provisional fingerprint sequences can be reconciled upon reconnection. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2].
