MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109879 A) filed by Shashank Majety on September 13, 2026, for Cloud-Based Financial Fraud Detection System Using Cross-Account Transaction Graphs And Real- Time Risk Propagation.

Inventor includes Shashank Majety.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A cloud-based financial fraud detection system is disclosed for detecting coordinated fraud across multiple financial accounts using continuously updated transaction graphs and real-time risk propagation. Streaming transaction events are normalized and resolved to canonical account entities, and a temporal graph is maintained with directed transaction edges carrying event-time and contextual attributes. A seed risk scoring engine determines local anomaly risk for an event or account. A real-time propagation engine selectively transfers risk through a bounded temporal graph neighborhood according to edge-specific propagation coefficients, temporal decay, path- depth attenuation, hub normalization, and anti-cycle or duplicate-suppression controls. Local and propagated network risk are combined by an adaptive decision engine to generate transaction or account interventions including additional authentication, settlement delay, hold, restriction, or investigation alert. Decision traces identify influential graph paths and risk contributions, while labelled outcomes can adapt scoring, propagation, and threshold parameters within controlled bounds.
