Abstract: The real estate sector is a dynamic, highly competitive industry that involves managing multiple interrelated processes, including project launches, unit inventory tracking, lead management, customer enquiries, bookings, payments, and post-sales services. As real estate businesses handle numerous residential and commercial projects simultaneously, relying on traditional methods such as spreadsheets, emails, or disconnected ERP systems has resulted in operational inefficiencies, missed opportunities, data inconsistencies, and delayed decision-making. In an era where customer experience and operational transparency directly influence business success, it has become essential for organizations to implement centralized, scalable, and cloud-based solutions to manage their operations, customer relationships, and sales processes efficiently. To address these operational challenges, this project proposes the development of a Salesforce CRM Real Estate Vertical Application. Built on Salesforce — a leading global cloud-based CRM platform — the system provides a comprehensive solution for managing project details, building and unit inventories, price lists, payment schedules, lead enquiries, bookings, and customer interactions within a single, integrated environment. It automates core processes such as lead conversion, unit booking, and payment scheduling while offering real-time dashboards and reports for sales tracking and inventory management. Leveraging Salesforce’s powerful tools like Flows, Process Builder, Apex Triggers, Validation Rules, and Lightning Pages, this application enhances operational efficiency, improves customer service, ensures secure data handling, and delivers actionable insights for management teams. The system is designed to be scalable, mobile-ready, and future-proof, with scope for integrating payment gateways, customer portals, and post-sales service management functionalities. In the real estate industry, managing projects, unit inventories, customer enquiries, lead conversions, bookings, and payment tracking involves a series of complex and interdependent tasks that are often handled through manual records, spreadsheets, and disconnected software systems. This fragmented approach leads to operational inefficiencies, data inconsistencies, missed follow-ups, delays in sales processes, and limited visibility into business performance. Decision-makers lack access to real-time reports and insights, making it difficult to track project progress, monitor inventory, and evaluate sales performance. As real estate businesses grow, these challenges intensify, affecting customer satisfaction and revenue opportunities. There is a pressing need for a centralized, scalable, and cloud-based CRM system specifically tailored for real estate operations to streamline workflows, automate key processes, improve lead and inventory management, enable dynamic reporting, and enhance overall operational efficiency. This project aims to address these issues through the design and implementation of a custom Salesforce CRM Real Estate Vertical Application.
