The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: TMJ sounds can occur due to various disorders, most commonly temporomandibular disk displacement, which causes clicking sounds. We use a piezoelectric sensor to pick up the low frequency ofTMJ sound and record the clicking, crepitus, and normal TMJ movement sound, and digital conversion to waveforms was done. These waveforms are analyzed and categorized as clicking present or absent. The waveform length has been analyzed for every participant. This can be used to diagnose TMJ disorders, patient education, and pre- and posttreatment quantitative records of TMJ sounds. The presence or absence of TMJ sounds; the waveforms were recorded and analyzed for the patient. This method can be used to quantitatively analyze the TMJ disorders.
