MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641125138 A) filed by Teamwin Global Technologica Private Limited on October 20, 2026, for Client-Side, Recipient-Scope-Deviation-Triggered Detection And User-Selectable Segment Masking Of Sensitive Content In An Electronic-Mail Message Trail.

Inventor includes Mohan Kumar Siramdasu.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: CLIENT-SIDE, RECIPIENT-SCOPE-DEVIATION-TRIGGERED DETECTION AND USER-SELECTABLE SEGMENT MASKING OF SENSITIVE CONTENT IN AN ELECTRONIC-MAIL MESSAGE TRAIL A client-side add-in detects a recipient-scope deviation — a recipient domain absent from the domains of a message's quoted thread, or a same-display-name recipient whose directory scope deviates from an expected scope derived from thread participants — responsive to a recipient- change signal in a mail composition surface. Responsive to the deviation, the add-in scans the quoted trail for sensitive segments (structured-pattern identifiers, directory-derived person names, commercial tabular data), presents the segments as individually selectable blocks each associated with mask styles (full redaction, partial mask, numeric fuzzing, table-cell masking, removal), and transforms the message body to mask the selected segments prior to transmission — deterministically, on-device, without transmitting the message to a server. The deviation-triggered scan catches the trail-inheritance exposure created when a new-scope recipient is added to an existing conversation.
