MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611088579 A) filed by K. R. Mangalam University on July 21, 2026, for Cleaning Dispenser Having A Venturi Aspirator And A Compostable Concentrate Pod.

Abstract: A cleaning dispensing assembly (100) has a water reservoir (10) and a head (20) carrying a pump (24) and a venturi (30) whose throat (34) has a suction port (36). A pod receiver (60) at the base has a hollow piercing spigot (64) leading to the suction port (36) through a metering orifice (52), and a vent conduit (66). A concentrate pod (200) of compression-moulded cellulose with a barrier layer (212), a pierceable membrane (214) and a charge of liquid concentrate (216) is engaged in the pod receiver (60); the hollow piercing spigot (64) pierces the pierceable membrane (214) so that the pod interior becomes the aspiration leg of the venturi (30), while the vent conduit (66) holds the headspace (218) at atmospheric pressure. Dilution is fixed by the orifice-to-throat area ratio, independently of stroke rate.
